  • Breakfast.

  • Visit to Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame (a museum for Indian soldiers).

  • Visit Sangam Point (confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers).

  • visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace.

Leh to Nubra Valley
  • Travel through Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet, the highest motorable road).

  • Visit Nubra Valley, known for sand dunes and Bactrian camels.

  • Visit Diskit Monastery, which has a 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing the Shayok River.

Nubra to Turtuk
  • Ride towards Turtuk village

  • Turtuk is the last outpost of India at Thang, after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.

  • Turtuk is famous for its apricots and variety of fruits.

Nubra to Pangong Lake
  • Ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh), on the border with China.

  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high-altitude saltwater lake, with 70% in China and 30% in India.

Pangong Lake to Leh
  • Head back to Leh.

  • Cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m.

  • Visit Thiksey Monastery, built in 1430 AD, and Rancho's school.

Departure to Home
  • drop off to Leh airport

  • head back to home sweet home
